Le compositeur et contrebassiste Thierry Mariétan signe ici son deuxième opus sur le petit label après « Astargallus » (pl021). La formation contrebasse / sax / piano / violoncelle ou guitare offre une variété de timbres et de textures d’une grande rareté. Après une introduction de type musique improvisée contemporaine (Nuit Etoilée) et une belle composition de Paul Wacrenier, "As if", on pénètre à pas feutrés l’univers du compositeur Thierry Mariétan avec "Etoile du matin", première pièce d’un répertoire magnifiquement écrit, laissant une grande liberté aux improvisateurs de haute volée présents ici, avec une mention particulière pour Alexandra Grimal. Regorgeant de solos, duos, trios l’orchestre joue avec une grande intelligence sur les multiples possibilités de l’effectif instrumental. Ensemble à géométrie variable, minéral précieux aux éclats multicolores, Krisis s’inscrit dans cette mouvance encore confidentielle des orchestres de chambre avec improvisation, dont les racines culturelles s’étendent à mesure que s’ouvre le vaste champ des possibilités.
